The U.S. Navy arrested my son, James Charles Hart, on January 13, 2021, a mere 7 days after January 6. It was a different political climate.
“Ultimately, the investigation found that Hart voiced his support for the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol,” the Navy Times published on Aug. 27, 2021.
His First, Second and Fourth Amendment rights were and have been grossly violated.
He was court-martialed, made a mockery of, and dishonorably discharged for his conservative beliefs and support of President Trump.
The USN Prosecution labeled 22YO Hart as “Kingpin,” throughout the court martial, stating he was the leader of a group of terrorist spies with his girlfriend and best friend, back in Arkansas. This accusation was fabricated, untrue and never proven.
James Hart served 18 months in the Brig, under deplorable conditions and abuse. And, came back home to Arkansas.
James still loves his time in the U.S. Navy and remains proud of his service. He talks fondly of all the days prior to January 13, 2021 in San Diego. He still supports President Trump, his conservative beliefs and his First, Second & Fourth Amendment rights.
